How selecting niche keywords?

Selecting and finding those keywords is the most important part of website development if your ultimate goal is to drive targeted search engine traffic to your site. I guarantee if you do not spend some time on this step you will fail in your marketing efforts. Your GOOD keywords are the basis on which all of your search engine traffic will come from.
Since this is your site you may think you know what keywords and phrases people will use when searching for the information your site has. Most webmasters are usually quite off the mark in this regard.
As a matter of fact you probably don’t believe me. Do this, write down the top 5 keyword phrases that you think will bring your site traffic. Set this list aside and compare it with what you finally come up with after you go through the steps outlined below.

1.) Ask others – forums are great places to ask people questions like this. Affprogram.info, sitepoint.com, and many of the other popular marketing forums are great places to go. This is an important step because these are some “real” people that will be searching for what your website has to offer. After you get some keywords and phrases put them in a spreadsheet.

2. Expand Your Keywords into a List of Key Phrases
Starting with the obvious keyword build your spreadsheet like this:
Fish
Fish Lures
Fish Lures sales
Fish Lures Sales Pennsylvania
Fish Lures Sales Pennsylvania United States

3. Got to word tracker and take advantage of the free trial.
After you are all signed up enter in your one word keyword. So we would enter in “fish”. When you actually do the search you are returned a list of keyword phrases. The first
term is the same as the initial keyword you chose followed by a list of additional phrases.

4. Organize and plan the next steps.
You have now built up a sizable list of keywords, phrases, and search terms. Compare your results with what your polling in step one gave you.
The results you get from word tracker are fact. These are keywords that are actually used in real searches. Statistics don’t lie. Hopefully they would match what you wrote down but in reality they are probably much different.
Five to ten keywords or phrases are probably all the workload you want to start off. If your new at this and try to do more you will probably end just confusing yourself.

5. Prioritize your terms
There is a huge amount of competition for your primary keyword “search” but much less for the fifth through tenth ranked. Your word tracker results will tell you how popular each term is and how many searches are carried out for each keyword phrase. You should note that the amount of searches that word tracker lists doesn’t count Google. Google usually does about 8 to 10 times more than listed by wordtracker.
It’s unreasonable to expect to get top search position for any very popular search term as the competition is just too intense. It’s perfectly possible for the last term or one of the less popular terms and if you are serious about search engine traffic then you should be able to achieve good results for all of your other keyword phrases.
List your terms in REVERSE order and get to work making content. The reason we suggest doing them backwards is
that you should get good results from the less searched for terms and this will give you the results you are hoping for.
Ah yes, I omitted to tell you that building traffic is a tedious and time consuming pastime, but hey! Someone’s got to do it!

6. Putting your keyword phrases to work
This is the content generation part. It’s probably the next most important step.
What do I mean by this?
There are “hotspots” on your pages that search engines look for when they are indexing your pages.
These hotspots are the page title, the page description and the page heading. By incorporating your keyword phrase into these hotspots you are telling the search engine what your page is all about. You still need relevant content. One general rule is that you should write for people with search engines in mind.

7. Rinse, wash, and repeat for your other keyword phrases.
Keep going through your keyword list and making new pages. Once you have 10 or so pages you are probably ready to go live.

On Site optimization

Using Meta-tags effectively
Meta-tags are the first thing Search Engines see. It's absolutely critical to your website optimization strategy.
Meta-tags are important to many search engines. While not all are still using them to categorize your website, many still use them to rank and prioritize your site. Meta-tags provide you the webmaster with a concise way of categorizing and defining your website. Don't believe that they aren't important, but proper usage is. Search engines have algorithms to prevent abuse and misleading information giving your site more weight. Don't cheat.

Keep META Tags Concise
Don't use the description and keywords section of the meta-tags to give too much information. Realize that search
engine databases are finite, and they do manage space. Keep your tags short and simple, and remember that search engines will penalize you for misusing or overusing meta-tags.

Use Proper Case
While this used to work many years ago, it's just not true anymore. Search engines don't want to display information in all caps, anymore than you want to look at it. Rest assured that you WILL GET PENALIZED for using all caps, and just don't do it.

If Possible, Avoid Doorway Pages
Doorway pages (Sometimes called bridge pages), redirect another user to a different page. These pages clutter up the search results and are really starting to upset people. You should note that using doorway pages is against Google’s (and most SE's) terms of service. Doorway pages are mostly associated with the META Refresh Tag.

Know what Keywords are Important to Optimize Your Page!
Some search engines only read the first portion of your webpage. Make sure your keywords and descriptions are accurate. We went over this above but I felt it was important enough that I had to stress how important this was for your on-site optimization.

Place Meta-tags at the Top of Your Document
View the source of a couple of highly ranked websites and get an idea of what their meta-tags look like. No need to re-invent the wheel here. A meta-tag always goes in the same place above the body inside the tag

Off Page Optimization

Yes, it's that important to SEO optimization!
Off Page optimization is probably the most important thing you can do to really increase your page ranking and soar up towards the #1 ranking at Google.
What is Off Page Optimization?
The most important part about off page optimization is your incoming links. You want some consistency. Lets say your doing a website about SEO Optimization. What's better to have out there? Your website name or links that say "Easy SEO OPTIMIZATION"?
I will take the link that says my keywords any day of the week. And you should too! Chances are you are not a wealthy man and don't have thousands of dollars to purchase links.

How do you get your links out there? Here are some basic ways to get your links out there anchored to relevant anchor text.
1. Write articles. If you can write articles about the content on your website there are a ton of places you

can post them for free. Here are a few of them and reasons for going there:
o Groupmarketingsolutions.com: They allow you to use HTML in your article, and your article will be in many e-zines that they publish. Some pretty big exposure for a few minutes of posting an article. They also offer a product review option. You get to enter in keywords, and a description along with a URL for just about anything....chances are you can handle this.
o Ezinearticles.com
o Articlecity.com
o Goarticles.com
Also you can find FREE places that let you do more than the average “ad”.
Stmadvertising and Groupmarketingsolutions.com allows you to create a complete search engine optimized page for your advert. This includes anchor text links BACK to your site. It’s also free and you can use it for as many sites as you want.

2. Participate in forums: Many forums allow you to post a "signature", you can use your anchor links there. Some great forums:
http://www.ablake.net/forum/
http://www.sitepoint.com/forums
http://www.affprogram.info
There are hundreds more out there, just do a search.

3. Guestbooks: This is my least favorite tactic. But many guestbooks allow you to leave a link.

Don't Get Your SEO Optimized Page Banned!

There are a few myths out there that are circulating wildly about what can get your optimized and not so optimized pages banned by Google and other search engines.
Here are a few things you won't get banned for:
• Being in a link farm - Google won't penalize you for something someone else could do to you. That means while you might get little to no "benefit" from being in a link farm, you won't get banned by google.
• Low Quality links back to your site - A pr1 link is not a bad thing. While it doesn't carry much PR weight, it's still a link back to your site and won't hurt you.

Guess what? You can still get banned from google for doing what is commonly known as BlackHat SEO techniques. These are what the bad guys do to get high rankings temporarily......don't try it, you will get caught. It's also a way for some sneaky "SEO EXPERTS" to rip you off, and ultimately get you banned from Google and other engines.
What Not to Do
• You should use huge blocks of text in your ALT TAGS. A short one line description as we have covered elsewhere will do.
• Don't abuse meta-tags, again short and to the point is much better for you in the long run.

Don't "HIDE" text in the background. That means if your page background is green, don't add a bunch of green text with your keywords.
• Don't use doorway/gateway/bridge pages. That includes those software programs that create "1000's" of supposedly targeted content at the click of a button.
• Don't link to banned websites. You should check your linking partners every once in a while to make sure none of them are banned for using unapproved SEO techniques. If they are banned, you DO get penalized for linking to them. Note: Banned sites are indicated by a completely grey bar in the google PR box.

Introduction to Google Adsense

Google has unleashed an amazing source of advertising and revenue for both advertisers and publishers of websites. It’s called Google Adsense. Adsense gives website publishers of all sizes the ability to display relevant Google ads on their content pages. Because the ads are relevant to your content your click through rates will be very high (You earn revenue as a publisher everytime someone clicks on an ad on your page).
It works like this – Google actually READS the content on a website and places relevant ads based on that content.
Advertisers bid on keywords to have THEIR ad be displayed on those pages. The advertiser only pays if someone clicks on their ad.

You need to be approved to be an Adsense Publisher – and to do that you need a website.
Your site should have the following features:
1.) Content
2.) Purpose

3.) Other advertising such as an affiliate program or opt in newsletter.
It’s important to have something on your site OTHER than just content. Google wants relevant GOOD sites – not sites just put up to earn money from Google.
That being said – after you are approved for your first site, you can display your Adsense Ads on your other sites as long as you abide by their guidelines. I suggest reading their terms of services but as a general rule you want to:
• Not display Adsense Ads in pop-ups.
• Suggest that others click on your Adsense Ads.
• Not force clicks on the Adsense Ads.
• Use Generated Pages (there are programs that will generate thousands of pages based on keywords).

There are several aspects of building a profitable Google Adsense Site. Mainly they are content, linking, and keyword selection.

Strategy: “Blogs”

Very simple but yet effective strategy is blogging. Blogging is good from couple of aspects, like:
- Blogs are free to create
- There are many different blogging services to use with different and very flexible features;
- Very important – blogs are search engine friendly content management systems (CMS) that can achieve high rankings in search engines even without knowing much about technical aspects of search engine optimization.

Here are few examples on what to write blogs:
- Blogs can be used to create diary about ones progress using some enlargement method. By posting different feelings, aspects, pictures, can create an interaction with audience.
- Another solution is using MoreNiche’s content articles and using them create different niche blogs, e.g. about exercises or SizeGenetics extender or weight loss products.
- Blog of course can be used as any regular website as long it allows customizing navigation, setting up categories.

What would be the blog strategy that works?
Basically the main goal is to create little blog network of 5-20 blogs that are on close topics to each other as well they should be aiming for low competition search terms. Usually it means either low searched term or also terms that are 3-4 and more words long.
Tools for keyword research:
-KeywordElite – is desktop tool with many keyword research features. This tool will collect you keywords from various places into numbers of thousands. It is used by most top SEO and PPC marketers.
-WordTrakcer – most popular online keyword research service, offers advanced keyword research and suggestions.

Key factor in blogging is to have keyword rich content and then link it between blogs and other sites targeting these specific keywords and pages. See MoreNiche linking guide for more details.
Each blog should be updated with 1-2 posts every other day or so. Blogs should achieve 10 or more posts each.
In a month’s time it would be quite realistic to achieve 100 visitors a day and earnings of $500 to 1000$ per month. Of course, some blogs will produce better and some not. Some will achieve higher rankings some will support these with links.
Of course, also one blog can be doing well as it would be easier to create unique content and gain more links. Regarding unique content and how to create it from MoreNiche content articles - see guide on avoiding duplicate content.

Strategy: “Mega-Site”
Mega site approach is good owner concentrates not only on very small niche and small content site like 10-20 page review site but goes after wide variety of topics that includes high competition and volume keywords as well as smaller sub keywords along with related niches / topics.
Examples: askmen.com, about.com
These sites relates to sexuality and different angles, men things and even mega-site about everything with many categories and sub categories like about.com
Core strategy is following:
- select the main keywords and their keyword categories and sometimes even more sub-subcategories;
- select related subjects and their categories;
- develop huge list of keywords of so called long tail (thousands of little keywords) that fits under the main topics;
- develop main topics (quickly) just to fill main categories;
- heavy development of long tail articles – this means creating articles on groups on these small keywords and optimizing them fast with couple good links. Usually this strategy will allow having 10’s of pages optimized within few shorts months and receive first targeted traffic;

As the long tail is being targeted and developed – the more traffic and more links are achieved which eventually will result in subcategory rankings and later in rankings of all main categories.

Here is simple example how it could look in practical world:
Category: weight loss
Sub-Category: weight loss pills
Sub-subcategory:
herbal weight loss pills
best weight loss pills
best weight loss pill
cheap weight loss diet pill
effective weight loss pill
diet free weight loss pill
Long Tail:
best weight loss pills review
top best weight loss pills
best recommended weight loss pill
best weight loss diet pills
best weight loss diet pill

These long tail keywords in some cases can be split in even more sub categories so it’s not necessarily limited to 3-4 levels but can go even in depth of 10 and more.
Important factor is that from these long tail keywords is easy to extract some related terms, for example: “diet pill”. This combination again will give us several dozens of keywords we could use to create other long tail and even subcategory level pages.
This strategy relies on the principle of uncovering different low searched low optimized keywords from different angles that relate to the main topics and then optimizing them for driving thousands and thousands of visitors from search engines and leading them from these long tail pages to your main pages like product reviews and sales pages.

Strategy: “Diversification”
This strategy is oriented towards creation of many sites and working with visitor from different angles. Basically diversification says it all. It can be applied on different niches, products and view points creating different sites to appeal to various visitor needs and capturing the sales from all these niches.
Several products within one niche
The core structure would look like pyramid starting with big generic site down to small product / visitor groups targeting mini sites and can be described like this:
- Main site – covers all methods and all products –it could be mini site about everything covering each topic briefly. It also could be a mega site and then many mini-sites around it.
- Category sites – several sites on each product category, e.g. exercises, devices, surgery, pumps. In some sites showing the greatness of technique and say surgery site showing articles and cases on how bad it is while recommending safe alternatives – exercises, devices, etc.
- Last level – in-depth review site for each product;

Using Anchor Text

Anchor text is very important as it is directly responsible to what keywords site will be ranking in search engines. However, they have to be selected wisely.
If most incoming links to your site has anchor text “Zoo” then it is 100% likely that the site won’t rank for “Gardening” keywords as it is optimized for “Zoo”. This means that website owner have to select correct keywords.
Once a niche is selected, it is important to understand that there are heavy keywords and easy (low searched keywords). For example, selecting “weight loss” as the keyword to optimize for would be very unproductive as there are very serious competitors.
It is recommended to select less searched keywords with less competition, in this example, it would be easier to target “weight loss pills”, but even this is competitive. Your real keywords should start like this:

weight loss diet pills
best weight loss pills
weight loss pills review
herbal weight loss pills
natural weight loss pills
Although these keywords could receive only couple hundred searches a month, it is quite important to start with them as they represent the very bottom (long tail) and have little competition in search engines.
One important thing to mention is that all these keywords have word “weight loss” in them. So the site will rank for many keywords and as link numbers increase, the site will gradually move up in rankings for all these keywords. In 3 to 6 months site could have established quite strong positions for some moderate searched keywords.

To get a surfer to move from your site to ours, you need to incorporate a link in your website. You can link to another website through either a text link or an image. The code for this usually looks something like this:
Secret Of Our Life
This will create a text link that says “Secret Of Our Life” and link to the page
“http://www.rahasia-masa-depan.blogspot.com">”.
This link would be fine if you didn't want credit for sending your surfer. But with affiliate marketing, you need to get credit for the people you send. Therefore, we use tracking software and give you a special link that enables our software to “see” your surfer. This way, when surfers comes from your website with your special link, we are able to give you credit for each and every sale you make.

It works much the same way when you want to link a banner or image, except it looks like this:
">
In the link codes section we provide you with the specific linking codes you need to drive surfers to whatever site you choose.

Tips Make Money Blogging With Google Adsense(2)

What Works:
1) Content is King
It is still the King in 2009. In fact, original content has become more
and more important. Sites that do not have good amount of unique
content will be weeded out slowly, not only by Google, but by the
whole blogosphere. Would you rather bookmark and revisit a blog
with full unique, useful content or a blog with duplicated junky
content? Or a blog that simply spreads affiliate links on all possible
words? The answer is clear, Content Is Still The King In 2009!

2) Theme-based Blog
This is the next big thing that is going to hit the market in 2009. Last
year, we have seen many successful implementations of such kinds of
blogs. Instead of simply a blog, or a collection of daily musings, many
blogs are setup to closely focus around a theme. For example, if you
are writing about gardening, what you need to do with your blog is to
have a comprehensive, closely focused content about gardening, and
only gardening. Forget about setting up a pond in your garden. Forget
about the benefits of practicing Tai Ji in the garden. Focus on
“gardening”.

3) Niche In A Niche
Gardening is a niche. Bonsai gardening is a niche in a niche. If you
plan to start a blog in 2009, you need to consider setting up the blog
within a niche, not on a niche. The competition has been furious.
Most popular niches have already been filled. Now, people are
moving into niche in a niche. It is a race on who gets to root into a
niche first and establish a name. So, try to think if there is a niche in a
niche that complements your current venture. You might want to
start a launch into a niche in a niche.

4) Contextual Link Exchange
This will rock 2009! Many services have been setup for this purpose.
Contextual link exchange happens this way: You are writing about
Bonsai gardening. You see someone else writing about Bonsai
gardening. You write about that blog and give a link to it. You then
email the blogger about the link, and ask if he will review your blog
and give you a link back on his blog. Both of you are talking about
bonsai gardening. Both of you write a post and give a link to each
other. It is so natural that Google is going to put weight on this type of
linking. Contextual Link Exchange will stay in 2009

5) Video Blogs
Yeah, this is going to rock 2009 as well. If you are setting up a blog,
and you want heavy amount of targeted visitors, use video. Write
some content and capture some videos. Post the video on YouTube,
Google Video and every place that allows video. Embed the video in
your blog. If you do it correctly and frequently, you can gather a mass
of loyal repeat visitors. You can also get links easily. Video is one of
the easiest way to link bait! This will help you build up your ranks in
Google and give you even more free traffic from the search engines.
Try to use as much video as possible in your blog, because this will be
the trend for 2009!

6) Outsource Content Writing
This has become popular. Successful bloggers are not building one
blog. They are building a network of blogs. We call it a Blog Empire!
We do not write the content ourselves. We outsource the content
writing. We do, however, tell the writers what to write and what not
to write. We do, as well, edit the content to add in some passion and
personalization. With the right outsourcing, we are able to manage
not one, but more than 30 blogs at one time, and still have time to
research and develop new blogs!

Tips Make Money Blogging With Google Adsense(1)

2008 has seen many extraordinary changes in the blogosphere as well
as Adsense. More and more people are entering the world of blogging,
and many of them are putting their hands on Google Adsense to
generate a part-time income.
Some of them made it successfully and become full-time blogger.
They are able to climb to the top of the Adsense ladder and cash their
tens-of-thousands checks, laughing all the way to the bank, while
others are still scratching their head in dismay trying to figure out
what went wrong.
This special report is written specifically to outline what works and
what doesn’t. Without further ado, let’s get started.
What Doesn’t Work:

1) Duplicated Content
It surprises me when I receive emails asking me where to scrap
content to make money from Adsense. Don’t waste your time. Google
is penalizing on duplicated content. If your blog is filled with content
copied from article directories or free-to-copy articles, you will end up
in the recycle bin of not only Google Search Engine, but the mind of
blogosphere. It is so easy to detect a piece of duplicated content.
Don’t use them unless they are really that good that you need to let
your readers read. If you currently run a blog full of duplicated
content, consider dumping it if it is not making you money. If it is
making you money, it won’t be long. You have to insert unique
content into the blog to save it from being swept.

2) Merely A Diary
If your blog is merely a diary without a theme, it can be hard to make
money from Adsense. You can make much more if your blog is closely
focused upon a theme. If you are planning to start a blog in 2009 for
the purpose of cashing with Adsense, forget about a diary. The ads
appearing on a diary cannot be well targeted. People will not click if
there is no relevancy of the ads to the content. People are hungry for
information, especially information that solves their problem,
provides convenience or provides entertainment. Think of a creative
theme and rock on it, just not a simple diary.

3) High Paying Adsense Keywords
The hype is still around. People are spending thousands of dollars
acquiring high paying adsense keywords. They are near to nonexistent.
Google has smart pricing that rules in the favor of the
advertisers. Google has never disclosed how many percent of revenue
it is going to share with you. If you found a keyword that advertisers
are paying $25 per click, it is unlikely that you will earn $12 a click on
that keyword. In fact, it is suggested that you steer away from the
keywords appearing in any suggested high paying keyword list when
you are first starting out. They do not pay what you think they will
pay, but the competition is stiff. You might not even get a click at all,
so why bother spending a whole 120 pages blog on the keyword?

4) Blind link exchange
Till these days, I still receive emails requesting a “blind” link
exchange. I am always happy to get a request about link exchange, but
when I look at the proposed link, it has nothing to do with my theme!
I am writing about gardening and someone send an email asking for
link exchange with his blog about Car’s Performance! Blind link
exchange will not work. In fact, it is rumored that blind link exchange
will not make but break your blog. You cannot control who is linking
to you, but you have absolute choice on who you want to link to. If
you link to spam blogs, called splogs, Google might think you have
problem distinguishing what’s good and what’s not and penalize on
you for that. Be careful on the link you are sending out.

Link Strategy

Links
Links are the most important element after content on the internet! Why? Because this is how the internet world is tied together – through links.
This guide will explain key factors about links and how to use them in the right way for acquiring good rankings in search engines.
Link campaigns
Every successful web site has to have links pointing to it. That’s the core principle of search engine rankings. So to gain visitors and rankings in search engines a link campaign must be planned and executed.

Where to get links???

Links can be gained in several ways - the most popular are explained below.
Directories – are the best way to start working on your link campaign. There are hundreds of directories and many of them are free so it is good to start there. Some might require a backlink before accepting inclusion, some might require 5-20$ payment but in return will give 4 to 10 links to your website to different pages and with different link texts.
Forums and newsgroups – are another option for gaining links – all it takes is posting into related places and along with posts include also links to website. Links can be integrated in signature or also in part of reply if there is appropriate information.
Blogs – are a great solution to give its owner total control over content and links. As a lot of blogging companies offer blogs for free it just makes sense to create them and use for link creation and building a network of sites around central website, however these blog sites have to be linked by other external sites.
Articles and press releases – represent a very powerful strategy for getting one way links as well as an instant stream of extra visitors if the article is republished by some online or offline medium. Places to submit articles:

DMOZ and Yahoo directories – these two are very powerful in eyes of search engines – also called trusted sites. Link from any of these will assure search engines that your site should be high quality. However, it is quite tricky to get in free DMOZ especially if it is a 13 page affiliate site with links and banners everywhere. The same applies to Yahoo as well as 300$ to 600$ nonrefundable fee to review your site for inclusion which won’t guarantee inclusion.
Link exchange – most popular way for gaining huge numbers of links and improve site rankings. Only disadvantages that reciprocal links are worth less than one way links.
Link networks – stay away from these. Getting 500 links in one day is a sure way to get penalized by search engines.

Link gaining speed
The speed of links appearing in a website is used for several spam prevention filters invented by search engines. For a new website it wouldn’t be advisable to get more than 100 links in the first month. This mean 2-3 links a day as an optimum way for first month.
Why? Because site has to grow slowly as it would do naturally.
Next month the number of links can be grown at speed of 3-5 links per day.
On third month up to 5-10 links a day can be added.
For older sites that already have a good reputation and have PageRank of 4 or more and 500+ links, the speed can be faster - 10-30 links a day.
It is important to add links to internal sections/pages and add new content constantly as the link campaign is being executed.

Business Philosophy

The purpose of affiliate marketing is that through the promotion of outside companies' products, an affiliate gets paid. In a Pay-Per-Sale setting like ours, every time a surfer comes from your site to ours and buys a product, we give you a monetary kickback. In a way, you're an internet broker. 2 major features go into affiliate marketing and they can be broken down into a simple equation: Internet Traffic + Product Promotion = A Paycheck for You

Internet Traffic
The first part of the equation, internet traffic, is possibly the most fought over and hardest part of affiliate marketing. It is best summarized as the quest to get those elusive surfers to your site. Traffic is the foundation of e-commerce and no website is successful without it. There are two fundamental ways people can find you online. The first and most popular is through a search engine.

Search Engines
When most consumers go online to find a product or service, they use a search engine. Popular search engines include Google, Yahoo, and Msn to name a few. Generally, the consumer will go one, maybe two pages deep in their search for a website they'd like to visit. Logically, the better your rank in a search engine, the more consumers that will come to your site. Because surfers won't go 10 pages deep in a search engine's results, site ranking is VERY competitive.

SEO
There are two ways to get ranked with a search engine. The first is referred to as SEO (search engine optimization). This is by far the most competitive (and profitable) route. Google, for instance, places a great amount of emphasis on your website's links. The more links you have going out and coming into your website from other “like” websites, the more “relative” your site becomes. Consequently, the more relative your site is, the higher your page rank. There are numerous other ways to optimize your site for SEs. PPC
The second method by which a website can get ranked with a search engine is using a pay-perclick (PPC) campaign. Above, you can see the PPCs on the right side of the google page. Instead of competing for page rank, these listings pay to get listed here. PPCs are beneficial, because the owner of the ad ONLY pays when someone clicks on their listing. So you're only paying for surfers to come to your site who's interests were sparked by your ad.
Most PPCs allow you to write your ad and bid on different keywords of your choice. For example, if you are running a cocaine addiction review site, you might choose keywords like “cocaine addiction solution” or “cocaine addiction symptoms”. You could then bid on the keywords, specifying that you'd be willing to pay $0.20 per click. Submit your ad and away you go. Again, a word of caution. Read up on PPC
campaigns and learn as much as you can. Done well, they can be cash cows, done poorly; they'll take you to the cleaners.

Alternative Traffic Marketing
There are virtually no limits to where you can get traffic for your website. You can set up reciprocal links with other like websites and trade traffic (this also helps your SEO). Email campaigns, as long as they are targeted and are not spam, can work well. Snail mail mailers, flyers, and traditional advertisements can also work. Just like building your site, be creative in its promotion. This helps you stand apart from the crowd and will lead to more traffic to your site.

Product Promotion
So once you have the surfer in your site, what do you do with them? Your task is to get them to want to click on the links to our sites.
